You're right on many points, though I believe you've allowed emotion and personal gripes to color your thinking about tech giants and their founders. To me it isn't distressing to see a few people accumulate unimaginable wealth. The bigger problem is that AI and tech innovation continues to vaporize jobs - good jobs too. Lawyers, writers, accountants, call center staff and drivers will all be relics. So when we're all able to lease a personal robot for $2000/month, we can't because we all have fallen into poverty, as only 25% of the population will have jobs.
