You're not 100% correct on this: corporate wokeness is not a thing. Corporations are being politically correct, out of fear of accusations. They are not being woke. Some CEOs are activists against homophobic laws in Indiana or vote rigging and gerrymandering. This is not prevalent and in fact doesn't even amount to a counter to the right wing corporations that help fund Heritage Foundation and other dark money on the evangelical right. As for education: you're right. The faculty lounge has produced a generation of snowflakes who actually believe that white privilege is a thing and that restitution for slavery should pass as law.
