Why we should be excited about Biden/Harris

America can begin healing, today.

Joe Biden’s Wilmington speech on Nov 6 was brilliant. He showed us why he is the best one for the job, and why he and Kamala Harris are America’s ticket to a much happier and healthier country.

We have always had partisan conflict. But not as bitter or as entrenched as we have it today, and never have we had America tuned into two almost entirely separate ‘truths’. Each side believes deeply that all our problems stem from the other side’s inherent evil.

Joe Biden stands taller than the trench warfare. His true north is not an overreaction or a counter culture caused by the alt-right. It’s the same true north he had when he was a young naive upstart. He won’t let our anger bend his policies. But he will attack the rot, without breaking what’s good. He will make drastic changes in racial justice, police methods and how law and order works, without undermining the police or preventing them from keeping us safe. He will make important changes in financial systems to protect consumers and working families, without crippling the financial sector or causing investor panic. He will add tax burden for the wealthiest individuals and corporations, and remove loopholes, without overly punishing the…
