The four agreements, #2: don't ever take anything personally. The other three are pretty excellent as well. Being laid off is not a personal attack. It's a business decision which, admittedly, has an impact on our personal lives. We are not owed permanent employment. None of it was a personal attack. All of it is just stuff that happens and therefore unimportant. What is important is how we respond to the universe.
