The electorate is the subset of total population old enough to vote and not prohibited due to incarceration, felony, etc. Of that number, usually at least 1/3 does not show up to vote.

What's interesting about this topic is how many people voted for Trump and feel a profound sense of loyalty for him, vs those who 'lean right' but don't like Trump, they just don't dislike him as much as they dislike democrats. And of these people, what are their reasons and can we win some more of them over to our side.
