Social media has eroded our grasp of a shared common truth, and we don't realize it's happening so we're blissfully unaware of the brainwashing that's being done to us. Then we go out into the street, and we can't cope. It's wiser to accept that political theatre will never produce the nirvana state we dream of. We can demote it do background story and decide to live our lives.
