Our world has way too many armchair quarterbacks.

Perhaps if you tried founding, owning and running a small business, you would know from experience why it is that you don’t sit on piles pf cash to bunker your business for 6 months and come out alive at the other end of an unforeseeable catastrophe. It’s easy to preach to Joe about what he should have done, but cash is expensive and cash needs to be working for you, not sitting in the bank doing nothing. A well run business might expect to have a few weeks’ operating cash in the bank. A business with a year’s cash in the bank is owned either by a spoiled brat heiress or a drug cartel. If Joe had piles of cash, he would have opened a second gym.
