Nice article and interesting thoughts - I hope you're wrong. I believe WFH favors the more well off and comfortable and it's really a mess for low paid parents who can't properly put any distance between their chaotic family lives and their cramped little home office, so they're miserable.

I work for a company that went remote on day one, years before Covid. I'm thrilled, I'm never going back to an office as a daily commute. I'll travel to HQ every now and then, and hang out and chat with people I've only met on Google Meet.

I don't miss that sea of stressed out commuters stuck in traffic or waiting at bus stops. And most companies have shitty offices let's face it.
