My ancestors were Irish. While caucasians we busy being slave traders etc, my ancestors were being starved, beheaded, oppressed and having their native language stolen from them by England. I do not carry any inherited guilt related to slavery.

By the way, if I were of English, Dutch, Spanish descent, I would have to argue that sorry folks, I wasn’t alive yet, and therefore I cannot carry the baggage of some dead people who did bad stuff a long time ago, therefore please take your logic and try to sell it somewhere else. Thank you.

I’m very happy to try to do my part to contribute to a fair and just, egalitarian society, but I am NOT willing to onboard some manufactured guilt that isn’t mine.
