Many of us have similar fears, and these are real at almost every age bracket. I'm glad you're not looking for a presidential candidate to fix this: that's impossible. We're in a macroeconomic vortex, the result of the 5th industrial revolution, which is concentrating the creation of wealth into an even tinier minority of people. At the same time, the technologies creating this enormous wealth are evaporating jobs in all corners of our economy, including now, white collar high grade professional jobs. There isn't anything a president can do to reverse this. Banning AI companies would simply hand the entire game ver to China, and AI would continue to ravage jobs.

We will eventually have to consider UBI and an intelligent system that pays companies for creating jobs, and possibly taxes companies whose technologies evaporate jobs.
