I've tried this several times and I always fail. I have a voice inside my head that says I'm a loser unless I own a large home in a posh area with electric gates and a long driveway to privacy and sumptuous luxury. I do not own such a thing, therefore I am a loser. I spent two years looking after horses on a gorgeous property where my job included accommodation. Pay was terrible, the job was amazing. I eventually bailed because I was never going to have a Range Rover or a fancy show jumper horse on that kind of money.

I sometimes wish I could be happy being mediocre, but it's not possible. I may grow old and die without ever building real wealth. It's OK. I swing the bat, no home run, swing again. I don't mind if I die swinging and missing.
