The encouraging news is that while TV and digital media would have you believe that 49% of people are far right lunatics and another 49% are defund-the-police liberal nutjobs, leaving only 2% of Americans still thinking clearly, it isn't like that. Fully 35% of Americans are thinking, listening and making up their minds instead of retrenching into a political loyalty position. Biden's middle class revival will bring many 2016 and 2020 Trump voters over the line into blue territory. We just need to make sure the vote fiddling laws of battleground states are carefully vetted and that the illegal ones are reversed and banned.
