I'm glad you wrapped up with this wise comment, as we run the risk of treating white privilege as an aggression against a perceived oppressor and thinking of all white people as being that aggressor. This solves nothing and creates new divisions we don't need. To me, "privilege" implies an elevation above the rest, a specialness, a luxury. Being questioned by police without being beaten up is not a privilege, it's basic human right. We need to attack the cause of police brutality against non-white persons.
