If you care about our future, shut up and get behind Joe Biden

This is worse than 2016

Joe Biden faces an almost impossible challenge. Despite his excellent performance — he is arguably the most accomplished and consequential US president of the last three decades — and despite his unique foreign policy wisdom, he does not enjoy full support from his own party, and is uniformly despised by the large red segment of US population that consumes the misinformation telling us fantastic stories about Joe Biden’s alleged corruption and collusion with terrorist groups, cartels, communists and dictators. He is hated by the red voters and not well loved by the blue ones.

This is happening when America is receding from her global role as dominant military watchdog and economic powerhouse, giving way to a multipolar world where several other powers vie for influence and domination. Let’s be honest: all of the others are shitty countries. China is an economic powerhouse and a miracle of industrial growth and social engineering. But it is almost nobody’s model country. China’s culture does not attract would-be immigrants, nor would they be welcome if they were to show up with immigration visa applications. The culture lacks empathy, family values, individualism, and charm. It lacks almost all of the intangibles that make people dream of moving their lives away from a…
