If the Dems don't wake up and start distancing themselves from this trend they will give the mantle back to the GOP. One third of Americans are non-allied and politically fluid. They take a seat at the table they dislike less, rather than strongly gravitating toward the party they love. It's hard to love Democrats who whine all the time and attack everyone as racist, misogynist, etc etc. We need to leave them behind and get back to rebuilding a center-left platform that creates millions of good jobs and brings healthcare, education and opportunity to Americans so we can rebuild the greatest middle class that ever was.
