I wholeheartedly agree. Zoom jumped from middle of the pack contender in a busy field of web conferencing apps, to pole position mostly by dumb luck and opportunism. It’s a crappy product and it’s not OK to have people believe it’s the only viable conferencing tool, or the easiest, and that there aren’t alternatives. Also, to anyone who actually cares about their digital security (most people don’t), Zoom is a nightmare. Uninstall your mobile Zoom asap, and think carefully about your Mac download.

Do what you want, but please don’t believe there are no alternatives.
