I loved The Diplomat. As for its veracity and faithfulness to diplomatic reality, not sure. I care about preserving western institutions, because the alternatives are shitty. I care about neoliberal capitalism, because the alternatives are horrendous. I care about America winning in tech, pop culture and global attractiveness, because its implosion in these areas would kill a billion dreams.
