I live in San Francisco Bay Area and I’m always reading about the doom loop, the end of days for my beloved city and surrounding area. In fact life is extremely pleasant in my blue bubble and as long as one doesn’t live right next to a homeless encampment, life is hellagood.
Any time I have traveled within the US (I’m an Irish immigrant) I have experienced friendly people pursuing their dreams while caring for family and friends.
I believe politically divisive content serves no purpose except to perpetuate the hate-based belief systems that have not served us well as a society.
I’m happy to report that most of the company I keep these days is strongly centrist and more invested in nurturing what’s good and working well than attacking the other side.
