I expressed a similar thought with a good friend over coffee. They suggested I back off social commentary and personal opinion for a while, and instead write about unique experiences - things that I gave gone though, recently or not recently. Invite others to comment and recount theirs.

I'm working on it.

At the very least, we're leaving za documentary of what our decade is thinking about, worrying about. We may be forgetting to express what we're delighted about.
