I despair. America is polling neck-a-neck between a corrupt dictator intent on dismantling democracy and future elections, and an aging but wonderful and honorable incumbent president. So half of the democrat tent is busily engineering academic mysticism that serves nobody, thus alienating working class families who would have voted blue.

We will surely struggle to explain this to our children, when we're watching the Hunger Games in 2029.
