Great article - you absolutely get it, unlike most of the progressives and climate aware people out there. I wouldn't stop at blaming a big corporation for promoting this guilt and shaming that's going on. An integral characteristic of the progressives and social conscience movement is the need to judge and shame, and to come across as a super sanctimonious idiot. The entire movement would be so much more effective if not for this annoying habit. Therefore, we each have a responsibility to reject the shaming and the guilt and realize that our part in the problem is infinitesimally small, and that it is grossly unfair to try to make us feel morally responsible for a global problem.
