Careful: there’s a coup d’état in the making

It’s not over.

Democrats, and republicans who voted for Biden, be vigilant.

There are several signs that Trump is working on a major stunt to pervert the course of electoral justice and hang on to power by whatever means necessary.

The Senate. Has not yet come around to acknowledging Biden’s victory. Instead, many senators are either quietly or openly echoing Trump’s claim that the election was stolen. Something is fishy here. Normally, the GOP should be regrouping and figuring out how to reshape itself after the Trump disaster. Perhaps a return to the Tea Party, or a resurgence of moderate GOP values a la Romney. But no. They have received a backchannel message to hold the Trump line, stand by, and wait for instructions. They are terrified of him. Nobody breaks ranks. Do they know his plan? Or are they just so afraid that they won’t speak up and call President Elect Joe Biden to begin work on America’s rebuilding roadmap. There is a plan in place and we will see it soon.

The Pentagon. Has been stripped of its top layer and quickly the heads have rolled in forced resignations, replaced by ultra loyal stooges incapable of performing the job titles they’re assigned, but very well able to obey the defeated and desperate president, no matter how outrageous his commands may be. Expect The Pentagon to go rogue, soon.
