Almost everyone agrees our two party system is failing us. We have more anti-government skeptics than we did 20 years ago, and more people claiming to be apolitical when really they’re apathetic, confused or disenchanted to the point of no longer caring. And those who still cling to their fading loyalty to one of the two awful political parties that rule America, are struggling to find enough good in their own party, so all they can do is point to the excess of bad in the other party. That’s a fail, and we all know it.

The scariest part of this is that very little is written about the likely evolution of economic forces, cultural shifts, technology-driven trends, and how we will exist as humans in 15–20 years, and how will any of the guff that these two parties put out ever help us survive as a nation.

Both Democrats and Republicans fail on basic economic theory. Republicans espouse a fairytale version of economic theory that believes with generous tax cuts, rich people’s spending will trickle down and make us all better off. It has never worked…
