Are we done with the far left bedwetters?

They do not hold the answers to our questions

Enough. The right has been taken over by degenerates who actually want civil war and would like to destroy democracy and civilization, to replace it with authoritarian rule and white race strongman culture.

That doesn’t mean that our only available response is a far left complainathon that offers no solutions but an endless stream of accusations and attacks against our core identity.

Medium is full of them. Here they are more elaborate and more verbose and even more disaster-thinking than on The Atlantic, Salon and Huff Post. We’ve built a hub for them to chorus their negativity and doomsday messaging.

We won’t fix hate with hate.

We won’t end racism with anti-white racism.

We won’t address financial inequality with hate-the-rich rhetoric.

We won’t end gender inequality with we-hate-men stories.

We won’t help Black Lives Matter with a call to hate every police officer in the country.

We should be done with the barrage of whining pettiness that comes to us from social consciousness writers in their time of PTSD, confusion and rage. While their sentiments are understandable and while we certainly should be wary of the far right and its power to distort and manipulate, we should focus on ideas and plans that might work. The tantrums of a traumatized child are not responses generally considered effective or intelligent.

We should put some distance between ourselves and this unhelpful movement.
