Warren would have turned it red. Bernie would have lost in an mudslide. Joe Biden is my guy. He faces a horrific journey of vilification, by the right, by the far left, by centrists who will feel abandoned on a specific issue, and yet he may turn out to be one of the most effective and consequential presidents we have ever seen.
